MC2MC Connect - Feb 2026

Had a great time at #ConnectMC2MC in Antwerp where I presented “Why Microsoft Purview projects fail and how to avoid it.”

I was put in the biggest room and scheduled at the same time as Christopher Brumm and Eric Woodruff, CIDPRO, so I genuinely thought I’d be talking to an empty room. Instead, loads of people showed up and the discussion was awesome. The questions and engagement really showed how much interest there is right now around data security, compliance, and Microsoft Purview.

Not that long ago, a Purview-focused session probably wouldn’t even make it onto a conference agenda. Seeing how much that’s changed is pretty exciting. It’s clear that Purview (and data governance in general), is finally moving from “nice to have” to something organisations actually need to take seriously.

On top of that, it’s been great catching up with friends, meeting new people, and enjoying what Antwerp & Brussels (and the Belgian community) have to offer. Thanks to the organisers for having me and thanks to everyone who came along - you made it a really fun session 🙂
